Quick and Easy Fruit Cobbler...

Here is a dessert that is so easy to make that even a four-year-old, like me, can make it.  It takes only three ingredients and only three steps.  But, it tastes like you are an expert baker!

Ingredients:

1  box Jiffy yellow cake mix
     1  can fruit pie filling
     1  stick margarine or butter

Directions:
  1. Pour pie filling into an 8" X 8" or 9" X 9" baking dish
  2. Spread Jiffy cake mix evenly over the fruit filling
  3. Cut a stick of butter into about 1/4-inch patties and place evenly over the cake mix (or you can substitute a stick of melted margarine or butter poured evenly over the cake mix).
Have an adult put it in a 350 degree pre-heated oven for 45 minutes.

That’s it!  Let it cool and enjoy.  You’ll love the compliments you’ll get from your friends as well as adults.

These are the only three ingredients needed. I've used apple and peach fillings but you can use any pie fillings that catch your interest.

In this cobbler, I first poured the apple pie filling in the baking dish.

I then poured the entire box of yellow Jiffy cake mix on top of the fruit.

The Jiffy cake mix needs to be spread evenly over the fruit.

Put the stick butter patties evenly over the cake mix (or pour a melted stick of butter over the cake mix) and have an adult put the cobbler in a 350° preheated oven for 45 minutes.

When it comes out of the oven, this is how delicious your cobbler will look.  It tastes just as good as it looks!  Enjoy the compliments!
